Mitch Barnhart
Barnhart received a BA from Ottawa University in Kansas and went on to complete his Masters of Science in Sports Administration
from the University of Ohio. From 1986-1998, Mitch worked for the University of Tennessee, with the last four years of his career with
the Volunteers serving as Senior Associate Athletic Director. Barnhart’s first Athletic Director post was at Oregon State University where he
proved to be tremendously successful and efficient cutting an operation debt by nearly seven million dollars in four years and raising $20 million
dollars in capital contributions for new baseball and softball stadiums, as well as the indoor practice facility and renovation to the basketball
arena. In 2002, he accepted the offer of Athletic Director for the University of Kentucky where he has already seen his desire of ‘overall excellence’
come to fruition with a number of sports reaching never before seen success as well as a record $80 million multimedia rights agreement
with Host Communications.

SCORE International will gladly accept your donation of new or used baseball equipment. Gloves, bats, cleats and other items are all collected and taken personally by Keith & Sharon Madison to the Dominican Republic as part of their mission work.
