Andy Green
Following an impressive High School Career at the Lexington Christian Academy, Andy signed with the University of Kentucky
where he went on to achieve the all time school record for hits, games played, games started, at bats and runs scored at UK as well as being
placed on the Academic All-SEC team and recognized as an Academic All-American. Upon completion of college, Green signed with the Arizona
Diamondbacks, where his first Major League hit resulted in two run, pinch hit homer. He has played six different positions in a major league uniform.
In 2007, Green played in Japan for the Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters. In 2008 Andy returned to the U.S. and signed with the Cincinnati
Reds and is currently with the New York Mets organization.
