Todd Wellemeyer
A Louisville, KY native, Todd Wellemeyer has established himself as one of the top pitchers in the National League.
The Bellarmine graduate compiled a 13-9 record with a 3.71 ERA. The big right-hander struck out 134 and logged 191 innings for the Cards.
Todd came up through the minor leagues in the Cubs organization and was the first Cub ever to earn a save in his Major League debut. During
his memorable first game in the majors, he struck out three opposing hitters in one inning while earning the save.
