Ryan Zimmerman
Zimmerman played collegiate ball at the University of Virginia where his career totals ranked in the top ten in Virginia
statistical categories in doubles, hits and RBI. In 2004, Ryan was the starting third baseman for the USA National team which went on to win the
Gold medal in the FISU II World University Baseball Championships. While competing for the National team, Zimmerman set a National Team
single-season record with a .468 batting average. In 2005, Ryan was drafted in the first round as the fourth overall pick for the Washington Nationals
making it to the Major Leagues the same year!
